WEEKLY PRAYER REQUESTS:

• Pray for the victims that have lost loved ones, homes and entire communities because of hurricane Helene.  Pray for protection over Florida in the upcoming days as Milton hits.  Pray for the lives of those who were unable to evacuate.  Ask God to squelch any organizations or individuals that are falsely claiming to provide relief to profit themselves.  Ask instead that God raises up organizations that are truly providing care.
• Pray for our upcoming Trunk-or-treat event.  Ask that many in our congregation would step up to help make this event possible by decorating a trunk for the event (we currently need 80).
• Pray for our sexual purity and recovery classes and groups; Men’s compass group, Sexual Integrity 101, Pure Desire for Men and Betrayal + Beyond.  Ask that Woodlands is a place where people seek, and find, Biblical truth and freedom surrounding sexual integrity.
• Pray that the way we speak of financial giving would reflect our good and generous God, and then people would increasingly see it as a discipleship component, not a “business concept.”
• Pray for our supported missionary team in Southeast Asia.  Pray Colossians 4:3 over the team.  Ask that God protects them and their families, providing good health, spiritual and academic growth for their children, and that they encounter local people who are ready to believe in Jesus!
