WEEKLY PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Continue to pray for our nation; the current and future leadership of our country, and the next few months of transition. For those that feel anxious or fearful, pray for peace through the Holy Spirit and through knowledge of God’s sovereignty. Continue to pray for the protection of unity amongst us.
- Pray for our baptism service on Sunday, for the 7 individuals who have are taking the step to publicly declare that they are following Jesus. Pray that their testimonies will be a witness to people in the congregation who are not following Jesus. Pray that it is a joyful celebration of the transformation and hope given through Christ. Pray that the gospel message is evident and clear to those who need to hear it on Sunday.
- Let’s pray that God will provide for the financial needs of all Jesus followers, no matter their situation. May He grant them wisdom to use their resources as faithful stewards, not as owners.
- Ask for peace and healing for those who struggle with the holidays, whether that is due to stress, loss + grief, unmet expectation, or other various reasons. Pray that the Holy Spirit works through community in our church – prompting us to come alongside one another as a catalyst to finding hope and healing in Christ and His promises. Pray that the joy of Thanksgiving and Christmas can be restored.
- Pray for our missionaries, or others you know, who are serving in countries/places where they are experiencing direct opposition/persecution for sharing the Gospel. Pray for clarity of purpose, for perseverance and strength, for endurance and encouragement, and that God would establish the work of their hands.
