WEEKLY PRAYER REQUESTS:

• Pray for our Elders as leaders of our church.  Pray for Jon, Andrew, Dan, Duane, Terry, Gordon, Brad and Don. Pray that they have unity, can communicate well with one another, and are led by the Spirit in shepherding and leading our church.
• Ask that we are examples of the fruit if the Spirit, especially surrounding political tension.
• Ask also that the fruit of the Spirit be evident in marriages in our church.  Pray for healing in marriages where there is extreme hurt and pain.
• Pray for Phil and Teri Barker as they left today (Wed) for Uganda.  Ask for protection over them during their trip.  Pray for the cultural adjustment, both in their transition to living there and also with the way that they communicate with Ugandans.  Ask that the Spirit is eliminating a cultural barrier when they talk with, teach, disciple and come alongside Ugandans.
• Let’s pray for God’s abundant provision for the ministry needs of Woodlands Church. May He guide those who handle church funds, reminding them that they are stewards of God’s gifts.
• Pray for our missionaries Dave and Heidi as they are back from France and currently in Orlando.  Pray for discernment for their next step as a family.
