Scripture:
Revelation 17, Psalm 133, Jeremiah 40-42
Prayer:
We are in the midst of Three Weeks of Prayer together as a church. We are calling on you to join together as a church family for three weeks of prayer based on the example in Daniel. The challenge is to pray 3 times a day for 3 weeks for 3 different areas (our country, our church, and our family & friends). Each day for the three weeks we will provide you with three things to pray for our country and three things to pray for our church. You will decide the things to focus on in prayer for your family and friends. Join us!
Our Country:
- As we honor our veterans today, let’s praise God for the impact of their service and pray that they truly feel honored by their fellow Americans today and every day.
- Let’s continue to pray for veterans on this Veterans Day – for those who don’t know Jesus, ask for them to find ultimate healing in a life-changing relationship with Him and for those who do know Him, pray that they would center their lives around Jesus, their only hope.
- Hebrews 13:8: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever”
Our Church:
- In a year filled with anxiety and fear, pray that we would live out our priority of being grounded in God’s Word and prayer, finding our hope and joy in Jesus.
- Pray for everyone in our Woodlands community experiencing anxiety, that it would drive them to prayerful dependence on God, the only person who can give us true peace!
- Matthew 6:24: “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Our Family and Friends:
- As God leads you for your family, your friends, neighbors, small group members, and co-workers.
