If you’re interested in teaching adults, helping to develop class curriculum, or explore new ideas – this is the role for you! Adult teachers can teach classes already developed, or can help form new classes around topics that are interesting to you.

Facilitate Bible based curriculum and classes in the Care Ministry, leading and teaching the classes appropriately and prayerfully. Training will be provided.

Care Responders are trained volunteers who listen, encourage, pray with and point those who reach out for help to resources within our church and community.

As a part of the Carpenter’s Crew, you will have opportunities to complete hands-on constructions projects for those in need in our community.

This volunteer will tidy, organize, manage supplies, and maintain resources in the classrooms as needed. This is a great opportunity for those who like to be behind the scenes and have time throughout the week.

Make everyone’s morning a little better! Help prepare and serve coffee and drinks on a Sunday morning, greeting the congregation and creating a warm and friendly environment.

Support the Communications Ministry by helping with various printing projects including printing, cutting and folding.

Beautifying our church is a big job! Decorating Team Members will work with the team to plan, purchase and execute decorations within a budget for seasonal themes decided by the Creative Arts Team.

A Discipleship Life Group Leader equips followers of Jesus to be disciple-makers in their home, church, and community. DLGs are gender specific groups of 3-5 people that meet regularly to grow together towards Christ.

Pick up, prep, and serve donuts at the Coffee Bar.

Team members show the love of Jesus practically by writing cards of encouragement, as assigned, for people throughout our church.

Foster Friends serves foster families in our community by providing physical, emotional and spiritual support. We are currently looking for Family Helpers, Family Partners, and Family Advocates. Family Helpers provide a meal once a month for the family, becoming a part of their Care Community. Family Partners lead the Care Community by coordinating family helpers to fulfill needs of the family. Family Advocates create and launch new Care Communities for each foster family, and recruits new volunteers.

Be a helpful presence during weeknight classes—ready to assist with simple tech issues like turning on TVs or playing videos. Great for students who want study time with a purpose!

The Global Welcome Ministry serves international communities in Central Wisconsin by being a welcoming and hospitable body of Christ-followers to those from different language and cultural backgrounds. We need one more lead team volunteer to help provide opportunities to do just that in and around Central Wisconsin.

Be the first face people see entering the church! Greeters are energetic, welcoming, and outgoing as they welcome everyone who walks into the church on a Sunday morning.

This volunteer is a part of a team that serves our Group Life Leaders by hosting and serving a meal or dessert 4 times a year for our Harbor events/Leadership Gatherings.

Welcome new attendees and anyone with questions! Hosts help welcome people, answer questions, and help them get connected to Woodlands. It’s a fun, relational role.

The Info Center is the place to go for everything you need to know on Sunday mornings! Info Center Hosts welcome new visitors and answer questions about our church and ministries.

This volunteer will support check-ins, greet families, and get new families registered, check-in, and welcomed to Woodlands. We need a connection desk host in the Nursery, in Sunday Kids, and throughout the week during Kids + Youth programs.

This volunteer will be able to jump in and help wherever needed during Sunday Kids, or during Kids + Youth programs throughout the week.

Our Kids + Youth Kitchen Team provides, preps, and/or prepares food for special events, including kitchen clean-up.

This prayer team member prays specifically over our kids + youth programs, events, staff, volunteers, kids and families. Prayer requests will be sent to you when necessary, but we ask for diligent prayer even when there are no specific requests.

Leading a small group of kids or youth in a specific age grouping in order to help them faithfully follow Jesus, form lifelong friendships, and engage in Christ-centered conversations. This position is for our Kids + Youth programs throughout the week.

During Kids and Youth programs, a sub may be needed to jump in to support a class when the regularly scheduled team member cannot make it. We need subs for Sunday Kids, Nursery, as well as throughout the week.

During Sunday Kids or Monday Night Kids, the lead teacher provides a Bible lesson that has been prepared in advance with chosen curriculum. The lead teacher also cares for and directs kids while they are in the classroom. We are currently looking for lead teachers for our Sunday Kids 3k-k age group and for all age groups during Monday Night Kids classes.

Life Group leaders gather a group of people who meet regularly and are seeking to faithfully follow Jesus together.

Use lighting to enhance the worship experience. You’ll run pre-programmed lighting cues and help create a distraction-free, engaging atmosphere for Sunday services.

Our missions team needs dependable drivers to get them to and from airports. If you can support our teams by driving when available, we would love your help!

A classroom support person helps care for all kids in the classroom, managing behaviors and redirecting when necessary, allowing the teacher to have the primary responsibility of teaching.

Help the under resourced in our community move their belongings to different housing.

Our Nursery Coordinator works to ensure a smooth check-in process for families of Nursery aged kids on Sunday mornings, welcome and register new families, and coordinates volunteer needs and supplies in each room.

Nursery workers care for and support our youngest kids on a regular basis, playing, praying and caring for birth-age 3. This position is needed on Sunday mornings and/or Monday nights.

Welcoming church attendees at the outside doors as they enter the building for Sunday morning services.

Capture authentic moments of worshipping and gathering during services, events and ministries at Woodlands for use on social media, our website, and various materials.

A Prayer Team member is committed to receiving and praying regularly for prayer needs in Woodlands Church.

Safeguarding the well-being of those who attend Woodlands and working to minimize physical, spiritual and emotional damages to the church.

Help Sunday services run smoothly by coordinating communication from the tech booth. Keep things on time and ensure every detail—from lobby TVs to lighting cues—is ready to go.

Join a team that helps prepare, set out, and coordinate specific serving needs throughout the church. In particular, the serving team supports funerals and special church-wide events.

The social media team collaboratively creates content for Woodlands’ social pages and researches new and fun ways to engage our congregation and community, and spread the hope of Christ.

This position is responsible for managing the audio for our services for both our in-person and online experiences, ensuring all audio is balanced, consistent, and enhances the worship experience.

Spring Into Action is a BIG annual event that makes a BIG impact on our community through serving in the local school district. We are looking for a variety of leadership positions on the SIA team: Director, Project Coordinator, Registration Coordinator, Financial Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, Project Manager, and School Liaison.

During Sunday Kids, this volunteer will be in the classroom to support the growth, learning, and care of kids in a specific age group. We are currently looking for classroom assistants for age groups 3k-k and 1st-6th.

Help make finding your space on a Sunday morning easy and enjoyable. Ushers greet folks as they walk into the auditorium, pass out bulletins, and help people find seats.

It takes all-hands-on-deck to make VBS a success, with over 300 kids anticipated. There are a variety of volunteer positions that we need:Small Group Helper, Crafts Helper, Games Helper, and Worship Helper.
