Chasing Vines

Join us as we explore Beth Moore’s life-changing quest of vine-chasing and learn how everything changes when you discover the true meaning of a fruitful, God-pleasing, meaning-filled life. In Chasing Vines, Beth shows us from Scripture how all of life’s concerns—the delights and the trials—matter to God. He uses all of it to help us flourish and be fruitful.
This class will be offered both at church and virtually on Tuesday mornings. You can choose which platform works for you.
Curriculum: You will need the Chasing Vines Group Experience (study guide, $10), the book is optional but might be a nice addition to this study. It is available as an e-book, audio and hardcover. Hardcover is $19. One week we will watch the video and discuss and the following week we will discuss the homework. It will be a slow walk through The Vineyard, The Vinedresser, The Vine, The Fruit, The Harvest and A Fruitful Life.

We will start with Hagar on September 30 – “In the Face Of Rejection, God Says I’m Significant”
Hagar, a woman abandoned and scorned who responds exactly as we all have at one time or another – she flees. However, deep in Hagar’s inner being, as in each of ours, is a woman who longs to be seen and hopes for redemption. This study will take you through the heartache and hurt of a woman scorned but it doesn’t stop there as Hagar learns that what is unresolved does not mean it is unseen.
On October 28th we will begin our study on of the character of Naomi – “When I feel Worthless, God Says I’m Enough”
Naomi often associated with bitterness. Follow her from comfort and security to sorrow and despair, and through to redemption. Learn just how closely God remains with us through our circumstances.
We will finish with Rahab – “Don’t Judge Me; God Says I’m Qualified”
Join us as we study Rahab, a nurturing, protective, and vulnerable person who suffered from self-doubt. Learn as she did, that regardless of your past, there is a place in God’s plan for you. He wants to redeem you just as you are.

Women’s Discipleship Life Group
A Discipleship Life Group (DLG) is a small group of women (3-4) who meet weekly or every other week. It’s a place for you to grow as a follower of Jesus Christ, care deeply for one another, and learn to understand and apply the gospel to your life.
