Reading:
Isaiah 37-39, Psalm 112, 1 Timothy 4
Prayer:
- “Rather, train yourself in godliness. For the training of the body has limited benefit, but godliness is beneficial in every way, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come” (v.7-8). As you read through this passage, pray that God would instill in you the right-size reverence for taking care of your physical body and for training your mind, heart, and soul in godliness.
- Pray for the many volunteers that make this church what it is; so many of the ministries we get to engage in could not happen without the dedicated and faithful volunteers in each. From regular service opportunities like Sunday morning services, Monday & Thursday night groups and classes, Tuesday night Kids Crossing, Wednesday night Youth Group to services that don’t happen consistently on a given night, but regularly all the same like life group, moving ministry, care coordinators and Stephen Ministers, our grounds and maintenance crew, financial review team, and many, many more. Give thanks today for the many volunteers that give of their time, talents, and treasure to serve the body of Christ.
- Pray for Jordan as he seeks to make disciples of Jesus on college campuses in the southern part of our state with Cru.*
