Prayer:
- Psalm 109 is part of our reading for Woodlands in the Word. Cry out to God today as the psalmist does in verse 26,
Help me, O Lord my God
Save me according to your steadfast love!
Cry out to the Lord, your God, for help and remember his steadfast love! - As we continue in the series, Made for This, pray that we would learn as a church and as individuals how to remain Christ-centered by clinging to Jesus, and how to best help those around us faithfully follow Jesus.
- Rejoice today that God will not abandon you. Ask him to make your heart glad and your flesh to dwell securely because of this promise found in Psalm 16:9-10:
Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices;
my flesh also dwells secure.
For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol,
or let your holy one see corruption.
