Friday, October 22nd
Reading:
Jeremiah 40-42, Psalm 125, Hebrews 11
Prayer:
- “Holy God, Your Word challenges me to grow in my faith. Hebrews 11 reminds us life on this earth requires deep, abiding faith in You. This is not our home. Holy Spirit, build faith in me such that my eyes are lifted above my circumstances, helping me see an eternity with You filled with great hope.”
- Pray for the children and families who receive food for the weekend through Backpacks for Hope. Pray that God would use this program to help them see that they are cared about deeply, by the hands that pack the bags, the people who provide the food, and ultimately by this incredibly loving and gracious God. Pray that God would lift their eyes to see Him clearly, and realize that He is the source of all hope.
- Please pray for Oscar and Karla as they seek to serve in the building of the body of Christ in Guatemala.*
