Reading:
Jeremiah 31-33, Proverbs 20, Hebrews 8
Prayer:
- “Lord Jesus, You are merciful toward us, forgiving our sins and remembering them no more. You do not shame us, You forgive us. Holy Spirit, help me to fully grasp this truth. Amen.”
- If you are reading Woodlands in the Word along with us then you’ve read Hebrews 8 or Jeremiah 31 with us today and the promise that God makes of a new covenant “I will put my laws into their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God and they will be my people.” This upcoming Sunday we will be talking about what a covenant is with kids ages 3 – 6th grade. We will be diving into the covenant made with Abraham and the covenant talked about in Jeremiah 31. Please be praying in preparation of this Sunday for the hearts of our children, that they would be open to understanding what this new covenant (and the covenant of Abraham) means for all of us in Christ Jesus!.
