Scripture:

Galatians 1, Psalm 120, Haggai 1-2, Jeremiah 1

Prayer:

  1. In Galatians, Paul writes to the church in Galatia about how quickly they’ve “turned to a different gospel.” Throughout the letter, Paul addresses what is the true Gospel of Jesus and challenges them to embrace this true Gospel and what it means for their lives. Pray today that God would expose any false Gospel belief in your hearts and that you’d rest in the final and powerful work of Jesus.
  2. Over the past ten years several people have had their careers restarted or started for the first time through Jobs for Life course offered through Woodlands. Please continue to pray for opportunities to connect with those in our congregation and community who would benefit from the Jobs for Life Course our JfL Leaders have prepared.  There are many who would enjoy and benefit from this great course, pray that we can bridge the gap between the course and those who would benefit from it.
  3. Pray this sermon series would correctly shape our image of God as a congregation.  Pray and ponder on the holiness of God this week as you seek to memorize 1 John 1:5 (found in the Faithfully Following Jesus section of Dive Deeper).  Pray that God would correct and direct your view of God and pray for rest in who He truly is.
