Tuesday, October 12th

Reading:

Jeremiah 16-18, Proverbs 19, Hebrews 4

Prayer:

  • From Hebrews 4:  “Lord Jesus, Your Word is living and active, discerning the thoughts and intentions of my heart.  Through Your Spirit expose those parts of me that are not consistent with Your Word.  My heart’s desire is to be grounded in Your Word. Amen.”
  • It’s Kid’s Crossing tonight! We are so excited to be able to join together again this week with kids ages 3 years old – 6th grade as we gather, grow, and ground ourselves in God’s Word. Tonight, we explore the story of Noah and the ark and see how God keeps His promises and how we can trust Him. Please be praying for the kids who will be gathering tonight and for all of our leaders – especially, that everyone would be kept healthy!.
  • This week we’re going to focus on a few ways to pray for those living in poverty, particularly our Compassion kids (if you sponsor one.  If you don’t and you want to, reach out to me!) Here’s another prompt from Compassion: Thank God for the church members and ministry staff who can take part in discipling our sponsored children. Pray that your sponsored child will grow in his or her knowledge of Christ, as well as grow deeper and deeper in His grace.*
