Reading:
1 Chronicles 11-13, Psalm 73, 1 Corinthians 5
Prayer:
- Psalm 73 is a psalm of Asaph – it is refreshing and encouraging to hear the psalmist even wrestle through questions of his faith. “When I tried to understand all of this, it seemed hopeless, until I entered God’s sanctuary” (73:16-17). What questions are you wrestling through right now? Bring them to God – we have a great high priest serving as our mediator and help. Go to him in prayer.
- Yesterday, we celebrated both Fathers and child dedication at Woodlands. Pray for the fathers within this church, that they would love and lead their families in the model of Jesus loving and giving himself for the church. Pray that the children dedicated would come to love the Lord Jesus and serve him for all of life!
- Pray for Gordon and Sara as they seek to make disciples of Jesus through Wycliffe Bible Translators.*
