1 Chronicles 8-10, Psalm 72, 1 Corinthians 4
Prayer:
- “When we are reviled, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we respond graciously” (1 Corinthians 4:12). Paul gets a little sharp with the Corinthians here in chapter 4, calling them out on their pomp and rather calling them to humble obedience. Pray that our church would be marked as gracious responders, humble and gentle lovers of Christ.
- Tonight is Guys Night Out – an event for the men of our congregation to gather, play and eat together. Pray that fellowship would be sweet and deep, pray that men would build friendships in which they will sharpen and encourage each other.
- Pray for Nick and Emily as they seek to make disciples of Jesus.*
