Reading:
Esther 1-3, Proverbs 8, 2 Corinthians 13
Prayer:
- Let’s lean into the sweet ending in 2 Corinthians 13: “He is not weak in dealing with you, but powerful among you. For he was crucified in weakness, but lives by the power of God” (v. 3). Especially when you lean into the final exhortation from Paul, “Finally brothers and sisters, rejoice. Become mature, be encouraged, be of the same mind, be at peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you” (v. 11). Prayerfully remember this, the power of God enables us, through the gospel, to be transformed – to have our heart and minds formed by the truth of the gospel which overflows into our thoughts and actions. The gospel works in us and through us. Amen!
- Tonight, Woodlands will hold our annual Congregational Meeting at 6:30 pm. Budget information, voting on new members, and an update on the investigation will all be discussed at this meeting. Would you please pray for clear communication from the leaders of our church? Pray for discerning, humble, and grace-filled hearts from all who are in attendance. Pray for the hearts of all who will be processing the information that is shared – that the Lord Jesus would be pressing his truth into our hearts as we wrestle with the deep, grievous brokenness of this world.
- Pray for Andy & Joanna as they seek to make disciples of Jesus with InterVarsity in Central Wisconsin.*
