Reading:

2 Chronicles 24-26, Proverbs 3, 2 Corinthians 3

Prayer:

  •  2 Corinthians 3 closes with this incredible statement:  “and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”  The Spurgeon Study Bible gives us a list of what those who are in Christ are freed from and what we are freed to.  Spend some time pondering and praying through these lists.  We are freed from:  the bondage of sin, the eternal penalty of sin, the guilt of our sin, the dominion or power of sin and from fear of the law, death, and hell.  We are freed to:  all that is in the Bible – to every promise of God, the throne of grace, to the Lord’s table, and to heaven.  What freedom we have in Christ!
  • We are about two weeks out from 2021 Vacation Bible School at Woodlands and we are actively looking for additional volunteers, as well as praying that God would continue to draw the hearts of parents to register their kids. Philippians 1:6 is the verse we are going to be focusing on this year and we would love for you to be praying that God would be preparing the hearts of volunteers and children attending on how they are “under construction” with the work that God is doing in their lives.
  • Please pray for Jay and Melissa as they seek to make disciples in difficult places.*
