Reading:
Song of Solomon 1-2, Psalm 103, Colossians 3
Prayer:
- “Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you are also to forgive” (3:13b). Spend some time today thinking of what you have been forgiven. This is a bit of a dismal task. It seems that part of growing in Christ is growing in our own awareness of our sinfulness. But praise be to God for the cross of Christ that bridges the gap between our sinfulness and God’s holiness! What more could we do but put on love and forgive.
- This weekend, we celebrated Child Dedication in our services. Pray for the families who have committed to raising their children in the knowledge and love of the Lord Jesus. Pray for the children that have been dedicated – pray they would grow in love and knowledge of the Lord and be disciples of Jesus in all of life, for all of life.
- Pray for Oscar and Karla as they seek to reach their home country of Guatemala with the gospel of Jesus Christ.*
