Reading:
Job 18-20, Psalm 95, Ephesians 2
Prayer:
- “He came” Those two words struck me today. The earlier part of this chapter reminds us that we were dead in our trespasses – our trespasses were death to us. And yet ‘He came’. He didn’t have to come. But because he is rich in mercy and loves us with a great love, he came. He came to make us alive with himself. Search again through this chapter – look at the ‘so that’s’ and praise him for all that goodness you find. This is a rich chapter! This is a rich letter! We have a God rich in mercy and love!
- Woodlands Youth is hosting a pool party tonight at the municipal pool. Pray that many students and leaders would attend and that the time would be used to reform connections, have fun, and gear up for the new year of ministry to students.
- Pray for Jim and Kelly as they seek to make disciples of Jesus in the deaf community through Cru.
