Reading:

Joshua 18-20, Psalm 43, Acts 5

Prayer:

  • As we continue tracing the story of the early church through the book of Acts, Gamaliel’s advice jumps off the page, “For if this plan or this work is of human origin, it will fail, but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them.  You may even be found fighting against God.” The simple fact that we get to cling to the name of Jesus now in 2021 is evidence of God’s mighty arm working in human history to glorify his Son.  Praise him for that!  And pray that the Church would continue to grow and glorify Jesus Christ!
  • Woodlands’ purpose is:  To be a Christ centered community helping people faithfully follow Jesus both locally and globally.  Would you pray slowly through each phrase in this purpose statement for Woodlands Church today?
  • Pray for Ryan and Colleen as they seek to make disciples of Jesus on Central Wisconsin campuses with Cru! *
