Join Woodlands in prayer this week!

WEEKLY PRAYER REQUESTS:

Let’s spend time this week praying for Good Friday and Easter services.  Consider these things:

• Pray for great community impact and that the gospel is spread throughout our community, true recognition of Christ as King, Redeemer, and Savior.
• Pray that those visiting Woodlands who do not have a church “home”, or Christ-centered community, would get connected!  And that we would be used to connect to others at the services we attend.
• Pray for families that are gathering; pray that the Spirit guides conversations and there is joy and celebration during interactions and time spent together.
• Pray for Pastor Jon, Pastor Colton, members of the worship team and choir that will be on stage, and our tech team.  Pray for protection leading up the the 5 services this weekend, and that they will be guided by the Holy Spirit in their preparation as well as during services.
• Pray for our volunteers – ushers, greeters, hosts, info center hosts, nursery, kids ministry, tech volunteers, coffee hub, etc. – that they will emanate the light of Christ.
• Pray that as we continue into next week our lives will be gospel-centered, frequently reminded that Christ is risen.  Pray that we live in light of who He is and who we are because of Him.

Also be praying for these requests from our congregation:

• Marla Schultz – Marla requested prayer because of pain in her leg and complications with her housing situation.
• Pam Holbrook – Pam requested prayer for her shingles and ongoing medical struggles and pain.
• Greg Holt and Family – Greg’s wife, Holly, passed away on March 7 from cancer. They have a preteen daughter and a few young adult children.
