Classes At Woodlands

Classes at Woodlands are designed to help you deepen your knowledge of, trust in, dependence on, and obedience to Jesus. We want to create environments for you to explore and grow in relationships with others and in knowledge of who God is and how He interacts with the world.

Classes at Woodlands are shorter, 4-15 week experiences centered on a main topic. They primarily meet on Sunday mornings or Monday or Thursday nights. They often include childcare, and may have a cost for materials.

We ask that you register before attending a class; this lets us prepare the space and content for an appropriate class size.

Core Classes

A series of 4-week classes we believe everyone should take!

Bible 101

The Bible is the foundation of our faith and understanding in who God is and what salvation means. The Bible is an immesnse gift, and should be enjoyed and trusted by every follower of Jesus. But the Bible is also a complicated and often confusing book: how do we make sense of it? And what does it mean trust it? And how do we read it? These questions and more are the focus of this class.

    Faithful Habits

What does a regular, Christian life look like? How should we think about practicing prayer? What about all those other spiritual disciplines, like fasting? And how do we understand Spiritual Formation from a biblical perspective?

    KNOWING THE LIVING GOD

Theology is the study of God, and it is the joy and priviliege of every follower of Jesus to consider – and then worship – who God is. This class provides an overview of what we believe about God, Humanity, Salvation, and Redemption. Regardless of whether you’ve thought theologically before or not, this will help you deepen your knowledge of God and obedience to Him.
