Woodlands Building USAGE

We believe God has given us this building to steward. We want to use it to its fullest, share it generously, and care for it well.

 Our Building Usage Policy

Please do these two things when using our building:

• • Use it joyfully, and also do your best to take care of it.
  • Leave it in great shape, like you would want to find it!

The primary use of our building is for Woodlands Church’s ministries. We are not an event venue and are not staffed to host and facilitate private events.  But we are happy to let church members, regular attenders, the broader Christian community, and our local community use our facility at times it is available.

All events in our facility, including private parties, weddings and community events must follow these guidelines:

• • No alcoholic beverages in the building or on the grounds
  • No smoking in the building
  • No open flames or fireworks on the premises
  • No use of pesticides in or around the church facility
  • No removal of church equipment from the premises
  • No crafting material smaller than ¼” on carpeted areas (i.e., glitter)
  • No roller blades, skateboards or duct tape on the wooden gym floor or polished concrete
  • No animals allowed in the building other than working service animals
  • We strive to be a peanut free facility. Please do not bring peanuts or peanut butter.
  • If you use our kitchen supplies (silverware, plates, coffee pots, roasting pans, etc), please clean them and put them away.
  • Please bring your own coffee, paper goods and other consumable supplies.
  • If you need orientation to the space you will be using or the equipment in those spaces, our staff can meet with you during normal business hours prior to your event. Generally staff will not be on the premises during your event outside business hours. (Exception: during weddings, a coordinator will be on site.)
  • Woodlands Church is not responsible for personal property left on our site.
  • Saturday evening events must be cleaned up, finished and out of the building by 10:00 pm.
