Our men’s ministry is designed to help men do two things: connect with other men and grow individually as a man. Most men’s lives are fast paced and filled with lots of responsibilities and choices. In that environment we need the friendship, encouragement and wisdom that comes from being with other men and learning from one another. The Bible says “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” We all have things we’ve learned and things we “bring to the table” that other men can learn from. We also all have challenges and blind spots that other men can help us with. Connecting with other men in both fun and purposeful activities enriches our lives as men.

No Regrets Follow-Up Study

Fridays | Starts Feb 7th | 6:30-7:30

Join us after the No Regrets men’s conference as we go deeper into some of the content from the conference breakout sessions. Each week we’ll watch one of the talks from the conference, read Scripture together, and then discuss how to apply the principles we’ve learned to our lives. It’s a great way to grow in your faith and further explore how God wants us to live “rescued”.

Men’s Discipleship Life Groups

Meeting time varies based on group

Are you looking for a community of Christian guys you can be real and authentic with? Do you want to be discipled and learn how to disciple others in your home, church, and community? A Men’s Discipleship Life Group is for you.

• Men’s DLGs are gender-specific groups of 3-5 members
• These groups meet for 1-3 years with easy on/off ramps if it is not the right fit for you.
• Each group meets on days/times determined by the group

Taking our Woodlands Basics: Groups class is the first step!  During this class you will learn the heartbeat of Woodlands groups, and our GroupLife staff will place you in a group that fits you best.

Men’s Compass Group

Weekly
Thursdays from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm 

This group meets every week at Woodlands. The purpose of this group is to encourage one another to follow God’s standard for sexual purity. We do this by reminding one another of the Bible’s teaching on healthy sexuality. As a supportive team of brothers we are there to hold one another accountable and provide a safe, confidential place to share.

Pure Desire 

Time varies

Many men who struggle with sexual brokenness try to go it alone. They believe the lie that sexual brokenness is about sex; when really, it’s about medicating the pain in their lives. Despite their losses—marriage, ministry, relationships, and more—they continue to return to unwanted sexual behaviors. But the truth is, we cannot fix a problem if we don’t know what’s causing it. Through Pure Desire you’ll start to understand your whole story and identify what contributes to your sexual brokenness. You will begin your recovery from unwanted sexual behavior with a trusted group of men on the same journey.

We don’t let summer slip away without having some fun together. During Guy’s Night Out you can choose your own activity from a wide variety; golf, disc golf, fishing, trap shooting, pickleball, mountain biking and more!

Fall Retreat

Every fall Woodlands Men gather at Forest Springs camp to spend a weekend away connecting, learning from guest speakers, worshipping together, and having a ton of fun too.  This weekend is often talked about as a “highlight of the year” amongst Woodlands guys.
