Keep praying for your family members!
Pray for your "one" - the person in your life who doesn't know Christ. Ask the Lord to help you live out Philippians 1:27 - strengthening you to strive to make the gospel known to others in your community.
"Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel..."
Would you pray for our pastoral staff today?

The book Operation World highlights and outlines the state of the Church throughout different regions of Asia. We will look at and pray for different regions for the next few days. Please pray for the following regions:
- The Middle East / West Asia is the region that witnessed the birth of the Church and is now seeing rapid decline. As Operation World states, “for it to have endured this long, despite discrimination and persecution, is remarkable.” Pray for renewed vigor and strength for believers in the Middle East and for their witness to be effective.
- The Church in Central Asia has seen multiplication in indigenous evangelical Christians in to the tens of thousands! But in all areas in Central Asia, these believers face pressures from many sides – government, Islamic groups, family members, and society at large. Pray that the Christian faith would grow roots, even into the cultural forms. Pray for continued growth, for the positive witness of believers, and for further development of indigenous leadership.
GroupLife Connect is kicking off this weekend! This event is where the classes and groups for the fall semester will be available and congregants can sign up to be a part of them. At Woodlands, we hold the tension that as we grow bigger as a body of believers, we want to be growing in community and connectedness to other believers; or 'growing smaller'.
Pray that this fall would be a time in Woodlands' history where communities are forming and growing stronger in their faith, deeper in their knowledge of our God, and more passionate in their service to Him and His body.
