WELCOME TO WOODLANDS IN PRAYER
Thanks for joining us!
As we end Woodlands in Prayer this week, pray the last two fruit of the Spirt, gentleness and self-control, over your family.
Pray for them to live out Proverbs 15:1, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." - ask for them to live this out as they interact with others. And pray Titus 2:11-12 over them, "For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say 'no' to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age." - ask the Lord to give them self-control in every area of their life today.
Since today is Good Friday, pray for your unbelieving neighbors again today. Maybe go on another prayer walk in your neighborhood as you lift them up.
Today pray for our Good Friday services happening at 5:00 & 6:30pm. Pray that God would receive the glory and honor as we commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
Woodlands supports a team of pastors in India who are planting churches, ministering to Leprosy colonies, and ushering the Kingdom into their neighborhoods and world. Pray for Rajib Arohan, who oversees this ministry. Pray for protection, obedience, perseverance, and guidance for Rajib and his leaders.
As we continue in Easter week, would you join us in praying for:
- those leading this weekend's services: Pastor Brian, Pastor Steve, and Pastor Matt. Pray as they prepare for this weekend's services.
- people's hearts to be open to the gospel.
- balanced attendance, so that everyone can find a seat!
- other churches and their Easter outreaches.
