WELCOME TO WOODLANDS IN PRAYER
Thanks for joining us!
Follow your own rhythm and pray for your family. Who will you pray for today?
Are you aware of any needs in your circle of influence? Pray for those now. Also pray for anyone in our community who came to Christ this Easter. Pray that they would draw near to Christ each day and grow as a new believer! Pray that they would get connected to a community of Christians in Central Wisconsin.
Pray for our junior high and senior high Student Ministries, that meet tonight. Reality Check is for junior high students and Edge is for senior high students. Pray that these students would be pointed to Jesus and challenged to grow in their relationship with Christ tonight!
Rich and Rachel Hendrikson serve in the outskirts of Paris, in the city of Pontault-Combault, a city of about 40,000 people. They serve with United World Mission and their general focus is leading the children's and youth ministries at their local French church.
Here are some very specific prayer requests from Rich and Rachel:
- Our church has started preparations for planting two churches in the upcoming 6 years. Please pray for favor in the communities, open doors, and God’s guidance as we reach out to these two neighboring communities.
- There is a government housing building close to our church that provides temporary shelter for refugees. A team of people has started reaching out to the refugees who live there. Please pray for the refugees to be drawn to the Lord and for them to understand their need for Jesus. Pray that they would know the love of God through the actions of the believers.
Continue to focus on people you know in our church body, or your circle, who are going through really difficult times. Pray that they would experience the power and the presence of the Risen Christ in their lives this week. Whether they are facing a cancer diagnosis, loss of a loved one or some other challenge, bring them before the Lord today. Since the theme of our Easter service was "He has overcome", pray that they would believe in and experience the power of Christ, that overcomes all things.
