Scripture:
Romans 6, Proverbs 14, Ezekiel 24-26

Prayer:
In Romans 6 today in Woodlands in the Word, we read how we are dead to sin and alive to God, that we are no longer slaves to sin, but slaves to God and righteousness. Rejoice in the last verse of this chapter, “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord!” Pray that we, as a body of Christ-followers, would more and more walk in the newness of life we experience in Jesus.
Pray for families as the school year starts or continues! Every parent has gone through a difficult process to make the best decision possible for their kids; pray that God would be at work in those kids’ and parents’ lives to bring much fruit out of their decision. Pray that God would give parents peace.
A family team that has been working in a closed country since 2007 was sent with the vision to raise up local leaders to continue the work of building movements of multiplying disciples. Praise God along with us for the ten (10!) local staff applying to join them! Pray that God would build their faith as He provides the support needed to begin their field ministry.
