Scripture:

Galatians 2, Proverbs 19, Jeremiah 2-3

Prayer:

  1. Proverbs 19:2 says, “Even zeal is not good without knowledge, and the one who acts hastily sins.” A sign of our times is quick reactions with what we assume is all the information that we hear on the news or social media. Yet prudence is far more valuable than a quick action or conclusion. Pray today that God would give you the wisdom to navigate the many messages and voices you’re hearing today; pray that God would give you prudence, diligence, and patience in developing conclusions and reactions; pray that God would grant you peace in the midst of the waiting.
  2. In Jeremiah chapter 1 this week we read how God tells Jeremiah that He has put His words into Jeremiah’s mouth with the intentions of Jeremiah using those words to build and plant the message of God. This week our @HOME groups will be looking at the Holiness of God which can be a big concept for kids! Pray that God would put His words into the hearts of our @HOME leaders as they utilize the teaching videos and activities to help kids understand that “God is light and there is absolutely no darkness in Him.” (1 John 1:5).
  3. Praise God for his provision over all these months affected by the coronavirus.  Pray, too, for his continued provision – pray for the kingdom expansion program and for regular giving and support for the many ministries of the church.
