Reading:
Genesis 10-12, Proverbs 2, Matthew 6-7
Prayer:
- In Matthew 6-7, Jesus continues with the Sermon on the Mount. While reading it, you may notice that many of Jesus’ words may seem radical. But we have to ask ourselves a question – what if Jesus was serious? Pray today that God would grant you 1) strength to follow his commands and 2) the humility to allow Jesus to convict and reshape your life.
- Pray for families and people within our church body and community that are hurting and grieving. Pray that the God of comfort would be near, that his presence would sustain those who are hurting and that the body of Christ would extend loving and grace-filled hands of help and encouragement.
- Pray for Nick and Emily as they seek to make Christ known through their work. *
