Prayer:
- In Luke 9 today, who Jesus truly is continues to be revealed in greater and deeper ways – through Peter’s confession, the transfiguration, the miracle of feeding thousands and his power over the spiritual world. Amazingly, in the opening of this chapter Jesus gives his apostles power and authority over demons and to heal, as well. The kingdom of God is at hand! Let us continually be “astonished at the greatness of God” (9:43) at work in and through us. Pray for God to bring His kingdom to his world through you today. Ask expectantly for his power to work in and through you today.
- Pray for our church body to be growing in Christ ~ pray through our growing priority as you think of the many life groups, classes, spiritual growth partners, mentor relationships, and many other ways people in this body are seeking to grow. We aspire to be a community where everyone is growing in their knowledge of, trust in, dependence on, and obedience to Jesus. He is Lord, and calls us to live surrendered to Him, so we will help people pursue spiritual growth in all of life, for all of life. To facilitate spiritual growth in our community we will coach people to walk with Jesus, equip them for service and witness, and develop leaders.
- Pray for the team in India as they seek to make Christ known through their labor. *
