Reading:

Leviticus 13-15, Psalm 22, Luke 6

Prayer:

  • Luke 6:46 is positioned after a large block of Jesus’ teaching, some of which is very similar to the Sermon on the Mount we are currently studying on Sunday.  It says, “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and don’t do the things I say?” Pray for a willing, humble, and teachable spirit to hear what Jesus says and do it.
  • Read through the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13).  Pause and pray for specific things in your life that fall under each category (kingdom, physical, & spiritual).

Our Father in heaven,

hallowed be your name.

Your kingdom come,

your will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

and forgive us our debts,

as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

    but deliver us from evil.

  • Pray for Tim and Sarah as they seek to make Christ known through their work overseas. *
