Prayer:
- In Luke 5 today, we get to witness the sweet call of Jesus’ first disciples. In the presence of Jesus, Simon Peter recognizes his sinful state and utters, “Go away from me, because I’m a sinful man.” Jesus’ response? “Don’t be afraid.” And a few lines later, “so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” What sin do you need to reconcile today? Don’t be afraid or hide, rather run to the one who has authority to forgive and delights to do so!
- Last Sunday, Pastor Brian reminded and challenged us to come humbly into the presence of God. Pray for this weekend’s services – that we would come humbly and be ushered into his presence.
- Pray for Jim and Kelley as they seek to make Christ known through their work with Cru. *
