Being able to spend some time in a warm climate we are able to have daily walks or runs by the Caribbean sea. These walks happen before breakfast at 5:30 am, which is 4:30 am in central time. It makes for a long day to walk up to 3 miles before breakfast; however, the added benefits are seeing the sunrise, meeting natives, keeping up with our health, and being energized for the day. The sites you can see are amazing, even though it makes for a long day it is well worth the sacrifice of getting up early. There are two groups, we all leave at the same time in the morning but one group runs and jogs while the other group walks. The fresh air and the calming nature of the sea make this primetime to keep up with fitness goals or new years resolutions. It also can make you feel more spiritually connected.
