Our question for tonight is What Should I Do With My Sin? Each kid should be coming home with a fun sized 100 Grand bar. During the lesson, I eat one that I "haven't paid for," and that I also cannot afford (what if 100 Grand's actually cost 100 grand?!??).
What do we do with something (our sin) that we have, but cannot afford to pay for?
Each child is supposed to wait to eat the candy bar until 2 questions have been answered "Will mom or dad let me eat the candy bar?" and "Have I handed my sins to Jesus?" This isn't a guilt "you can't eat the candy until you become a Christian," but rather an encouragement to wrestle with the question. It's a good question to ask your son or daughter!
